Kevin Cousineau

Kevin obtained his first horse by driving all night, the day before Thanksgiving, to a prison facility in Las Cruces, NM. The prison housed over 200 American Mustangs and inmates were responsible for  training the horses for adoption for riding.

He fell in love with the first horse he saw. A jet black Spanish Mustang who had only been at the facility for 3 days. Kevin looked at every single horse on the property before making his decision... and Dancer of the Unending Night became his first horse. Kevin owns the training facility that the rescue uses to rehabilitate the horses at TEARS.

Aliento, a rescued Paso Fino, is Kevin's second horse and is pictured to the right. Sadly, Dancer passed away last year. See his story on the Rainbow Bridge page.
