I was surrendered by my breeder when it was obvious I didn't want to be a race horse. I was very well cared for and was immediatley put on a diet at TEARS! At 2 years of age, I was not able to figure out how to work all 4 legs  with any effect... so I spent the next 2 years helping veterinary technician students how to care for horses. ​

When I was coming 4 I was fostered at Copper Meadows with a trainer. They were given 2 horses for Christmas and returned me to TEARS. In the summer another lady decided to foster me at Copper Meadows as a 3 day event prospect. I got a vet check and was mildly positive in my frnt flexion tests. I was xrayed and had a small amount of inflammation in a couple of tendons. They had me shod improperly with too much toe and no heels... which made me worse.

 

I was returned to the rescue and given time to heal, ridden lightly in early 2014, and given stem cells in May and June to help any left over inflammation. My hooves are now correctly trimmed and I don't need shoes... I am ready for a forever home! I will be at the Boy Scout Camp this summer and will come back ready for a new home.
