Diane's Purchase

I ended up at Mike's Auction. I was not terribly upset as I am a very easy going and sweet mare. I have advanced melanoma surrounding my rear, but I am not in any pain and I have no other health issues.

A nice lady from Auction Horse Rescue has put out a call for help for me. All of the respondants thought I had been saved by Diane and no one stepped up to save me... unit TEARS realized my name is Diane's Purchase!

 

Another rescue bought me for $50.00 and TEARS was called in to go get the mare from them as they have move the rescue a lot due to complaints of skinny horses. TEARS came to get me one week after my auction adn paid $100.00 for me. I had been put in a herd of bully's and had all kinds of horse teeth and hoof marks all over me.

I am retired and living a great life as a sanctuary horse. I wear a grazing muzzle because I crib. I help teach the young horses manners and how to behave around humans. I occasionally have trouble with my melanoma bursting, but TEARS keeps me healthy with antibiotics and pain meds when needed. I am even walking better than I have in 2 years because the youngster I am teaching also helps keep me in shape!
